Now that Thanksgiving has passed (just 4 days to be exact…), it’s time to start thinking about Christmas! Yes, the holiday season is upon us and I know my sisters and I in Alpha Xi Delta couldn’t be more excited to spread the holiday cheer. Just yesterday Alpha Xi Delta’s with the help of some of our parents decorated our chapter house at the University of Washington. The Christmas tree went up with our beautiful double blue and gold ornaments, the garland on the staircase, the wreath on the door…I don’t know about you, but having our home lit up with warm Christmas lights makes me more excited than ever for the holidays! Even though these last few weeks are going to be filled with studying and finishing the quarter strong, don’t doubt for a minute that we don’t have a couple of fun events planned. Our parent club is excited to be hosting the first parent holiday party at our house this week! Cookies and hot chocolate will definitely be served, and spending time with our families at our chapter house will be just the kind of break we need from our studies. We are also doing our annual Secret Santa, a great way to spread the love to our fellow sisters:) Clearly lots to look forward to even in the midst of finals!
